My mission is to work against the order of ignorance and injustice in the world.
Humankind suffers in two ways. It suffers from natural occurrences, such as disease, famine, and natural disasters. It also suffers from the actions of humans—what philosophers call “moral evil.” For decades, my studies and work have focused on the amelioration of suffering caused by the actions of humans. This is my passion, and my purpose.
United Against Fentanyl
With over two decades in humanitarian nonprofit work, I thought I had seen it all. But fentanyl was different. The number one killer amongst Americans 18-45. Five thousand students dead. Many didn’t realize the pill they were about to take had been laced. Devastated parents. I moved near an epicenter. Española, New Mexico. What I saw demanded I act.
Critical Thinking Initiative
Professors of philosophy and education on a mission to enlighten minds not of what, but how to think. We positively influence society by translating the methods of reasoning and argumentation that are the specialization of philosophy for implementation across a diverse range of contexts, transforming educational and other organizations into sites of critical and creative inquiry, rational decision-making, and public reason.
The Wolves Podcast
This is a new podcast that explores spiritual abuse — an abuse of power that is often physical in nature, but always rooted in psychological violence of a perpetrator against his victim. I explore the topic of abuse in general, including the harrowing reality of trauma. With the vision of advocacy for past and future victims, I cover current leaders and their alleged victims.
